DENVER - Tom Brady made three touchdown passes and the New England Patrios tied their own record with a 12th consecutive victory on an opposing pitch, defeating the Denver Broncos 41-16 on Sunday night.

Both teams have represented the American Association in the last four Super Bowls and the Broncos (3-6) believed that a visit from their rivals would help them find their way back to victory.

The Broncos have rather sunk more. They continued their losing streak, which now stands at five, the worst since the last seven seasons. They lost twice to the Patriots (7-2) in Denver for the first time since 1966.

Avoiding Von Miller all night, Brady had 266 yards in 25 assists and his personal record was 8-9 against the Broncos, the only team he has more defeats than wins.

The Patriots quarterback broke Peyton Manning's record by capturing his 86th regular-season away win in the NFL.

Head coach Bill Belichick also tied Tom Landry in third place for the total of victories with 270 (including the playoffs).
