The man is charged with raping and killing Serenity Jazzlyn-Sky Blankenship-Sutley, a one-year-old girl, his girlfriend's daughter, at their home in Conneaut, Ohio on October 2017.

Unfortunately, when the daughter died, internet users harassed the mother online so the woman had to go through a particularly trying time after the death of her only child.
She held Serenity Jazzlyn-Sky in her arms when the police arrived. They found that the girl died from her injuries following a traumatic brain injury.
Joshua Gurto was questioned by the police immediately after the girl's death, but he fled as soon as he was released. He spent 3 weeks in the forest trying to escape the authorities.
Last week, Joshua Gurto was seen at a service station in Pennsylvania. He was with a driver who had boarded him while he was thumbing. Thanks to a surveillance camera, the police were able to find the driver to question him and thus know the destination of Joshua Gurto.
On Thursday night, an officer saw Joshua Gurto and took out his gun, ordering him to identify himself. The suspect cooperated and he did not fight when he was arrested,
Joshua Gurto is currently in prison and will be held until his trial.
